Shopping with augmented reality

The famous online fashion store, NET-A-PORTER, is releasing what is called as augmented reality window shopping for stores in London, New York and Paris and other selected cities.

To enjoy the augmented reality window shopping you need to get the NET-A-PORTER iPhone or iPad application and of course travel at the stores included in this NET-A-PORTER experience.

When in the store, or outside looking at its windows, you can point the camera of your device at the clothes on display. The application in your device will immediately give you a 360 degree view of the product, a showcase of the product by catwalk models, general information, pricing info and even the ability to buy the product online at that moment.

If you find yourself, in any of the above mentioned cities and in any participating store then you will be in for a treat, whereby you will be able to have more than just a glance into a product/garment.
